UPSCALING 3D WEAVING

Is mainly a 2 person activity. 3d weaving needs the support of a mould.The measures of the mould are to be very specific, fitting the width od the used tapes.Here for diagonal weaving, the modular measure to be used is the width at 45° of the tape. Any measure of the mould should be a multiplication of this size.
Therefore there needs to be looked at build op modular moulds , to be build up by adding rectangular elements, joint width velcro? Cardboard is strong enough. Retraction of the mould is not always possible.

Conclusion 3D-weaving:
not dynamic enough, and too complicated for performative manufacturing.
Handling and mould, both require lots of thinking.
Is there more promess in this technique for healing objects?
